Oldie Goldie

Oh my gosh! I remember doing these quite a few years back...2009 if I'm not mistaken. Turns out I had stamped a whole pile of them but never completed...until now! Love how that deep deep purple, Blackberry Bliss works with quite a few. Who doesn't like a blast from the past mixed with the way of today?

Faux Pergamano

Also known as raised velum was this weeks class. Although I didn't have the best stamps to use for illustration, I think they turned out pretty darn goodthough. This was a fun technique and could be used for just about any sentiment. Not too sure about a manly card...really have to put my thinking cap on for designing one of those.. I have been really inspired these last couple of weeks by so much. Hope I don't lose the inspiration! Here are some of the cards I made for class.

For this card I did not burnish the velum. This was a bad stamping job gone bad but I fixed it up a bit.
My lighting sucks!

Watercolour Bokeh

I just found the most wonderful type of background creations for cards. It's called watercolour Bokeh and although it's a it time consuming, I love the outcome. I think I made one in almost every colour. This card I am sending off Stae side for a birthday to a gal I don't even know. I hope she likes it when she gets it. I also taught this in class a couple weeks ago. So much fun!

Baby Shower Goodies

Our organist at church had her baby and we celebrating by throwing a shower. Here are some goodies I made to give as treats.

I designed the rattles on my Silhouette

The doiles on the table and all the confetti. It was sooo much fun!

Easy Peasie Pull up card

I saw a new design of a card in a magazine and wanted to copy that idea so I set to work making my own design template and made a couple cards for clas that went over well.

One of the cards we made.
