Johnny Jump Ups

Hi Everyone,
Valentines is now over and I did share some of what we made a week ago, however, I'd like to share a card I made for my hubby for valentines.  After I made it and gave it to him I started looking at it and decided that the heart replacing the letter "O"is too big and would look better with a small heart placed in the middle of it.  Next time!

I found a really sweet kleenex and used it to make the background
using the felted cardstock technique.

This past Thursday was my "Flower Power" class where I teach the class how to make a different flower from punches, paper, ribbon, etc.  We did Johnny Jump Ups using the small heart from the trio heart punch. Some inspiration from Penny Flowers had me putting together a larger flower.

inside I put "You"

Check back for a tutorial on how I made these flowers

Velum Valentines/CASEd cards

Hi fellow crafters,
Thank you for all your kind emails and wonderful comments.  Some of you have asked about the felted cardstock cards in my recent post.  You can find a tutorial for that on Splitcoaststampers.  Also the mittens used in the mitten card and the peek-a-boo card is an original die I purchased from Sizzix a few years ago before I became a demontrator for Stampin Up.
I get inspired by the strangest things sometimes and pull in all kinds of resources when I'm teaching a technique class.
I have a couple of cards to shared that I CASED.  The following two were inspired by Kirsteen Gill

Bravo Burgandy and velum with vintage white seam binding

Elegant Eggplant with white velum and vintage white seam binding.
The ladies loved doing them!

I don't know who to give credit to for this card.  Please if it's yours, let me know!  I loved it so much, I changed very little!  I used Real Red for the card base instead of Whisper White, changed the sentiment and added cherry cobbler dazzling details to the heart.

Thanks for the inpiration!

We also made treat holders with the matchbox die and a goodie bag for some other boxed candy.

Now go and get crafting!!!

Look what's popped up!

Hi Crafters,
Last class we did pop-up cards and these are some designs I popped up with. LOL.
They were so simple and easy to do.  Hope you like them and become inspired to make some of your own.

Outside of card
Notice the cake has no candles
Then...

voila!!!

a little sparkle for enhancement!!!

outside
You could place a sentiment along the crimped strip before crimping.
I chose not to place a sentiment to keep the suspense because when you first look at the card,
you're not sure exactly what's going on until you open it up
